Applications & Uses

Yellow mustard seeds are used in condiment manufacturing (mustard paste, mustard oil, prepared mustard), pickling, spice blending, and as a tempering spice in South Asian cuisine. Cold-pressed mustard oil is a major edible oil in India and Bangladesh. The seed cake after oil extraction is used as animal feed and organic fertiliser.
